Hevelius' Parrot
Next to the stairs, there is a sculpture of a bird that refers to a well known legend of Franciszek Fenikowski called “Master Hevelius’ Parrot. The Shopping Gallery is situated in the Old Town, where in Korzenna street a famous Gdansk astronomer lived. That’s how the memory of a historical neighbour of the Gallery has been commemorated.
