The Madison Shopping Gallery is an unusual place in the heart of Gdansk. Perfectly located, at the edge of the Old Town, the Gallery lies in the tract that cannot be missed by every tourist who wants impressions and attractions.

Our gallery comprises:

almost 100 shops and service outlets
restaurants, cafes and ice-cream shops
tourist agencies and bureau de change
great playground for children
underground parking lot.

In cosy restaurants and cafes we can meet our friends and have some aromatic coffee with a piece of cake or have some original food of Italian or Indian cuisine.
After the shopping we can get to the third floor to the Gymnasion recreation centre and get advantage of the offer to increase physical fitness, to apply active forms of relaxation and body care.
The Madison Shopping Gallery, however, is much more than just a shopping centre. This is a charmed history of old Gdansk. The Gallery contains hidden secrets that are much talked about in old legends and stories. Here, famous persons and symbols of Gdansk tales have been charmed sculptures.

Lions at the watch

At the height of about 18 metres from the ground floor, on a little patio, three sculptures have been placed. The lions are in the city’s coat of arms and are associated with Arthus’ Court...

The Fiddler

There is a beautiful sculpture of a fiddler on the second floor of our gallery. Put a coin into his hat for luck and the sounds of a beautiful melody will resound.

Situated in many places of the gallery, the sculptures of noble guardians smile in a friendly way to all the guests. There are five of the guardians and they symbolise Gdansk history...
